    Would be interesting to know what the other half of collected events that got the chop were, even this reduced list seems massive, and arguably intrusive, so goodness knows what was being gathered previously.

    Still it's good they've finally come clean on what's collected at the basic level so people can make informed choices.

    It's a case of 'too little, too late' from my point of view, microsoft and their deceitful ways have pretty much made sure windows 7 and my xbox 360 are the last microsoft products I will ever own.

    i'm sure many thousands of people are searching for "improve win10 privacy" and emailing or social media posting their friends with complaints about this so it's only natural microsoft is responding to this, even if you never realised they were collecting your every post in the first place :S
