In my eyes the only thing missing from MCE is native Sky+ support. I'm surprised that MS havn't made attempts to form an unholy alliance with BSkyB to allow Sky+ style level of functionality and quality. I appreciate that you can use a IR blaster to control you Sky box but you would ideally like dual RGB sources for optimal recording quality.

I know BSkyB's determination not to licence their encryption for a PCI card but a MCE PC with Sky+ functionality and quality in addition to all the other cool features would make me one of the converted; as it stands Meedio, Media Portal or any of the other clones are quite capable to do all I need (albeit sans fancy interface).

still missing subtitles on dvb-t streams :( majorly was looking forward to that, and i suppose we got dvb-t radio for the people in the uk. apart from that, i cant really see any other changes to the normal user. oh and its not any faster, and atm, not any stablier either. 5.30 in the morning, the computer randomly wakes it self up (when not schelude to do anything) and then at about 6.30 i was awake and saw that the pc was on, so i grabbed the remote and switched it off... upon switching the on, i see a nice blue screen error with 0x0000008e and nv4dis.dll or something another.
    nice :)

yep, checked out the 0x000008e which results in faulty ram or access error, so im guessing it was a one off when the pc was waking from standby... :/
