Well I came here to say "its about time" but then I read the article. Seems to me security updates should be more frequent instead.

Am I totally off my rocker in thinking that security updates should be more frequent instead of quality updates?

If security updates are more frequent than quality updates, someone done goofed big time.... So yes, you are totally off your rocker.

Anything offered as a service, which requires more security updates than quality updates is definitely something to avoid..

But why is it better to leave security holes unpatched for a month instead of two weeks?
