Just having the name "Elite" controller makes it worth every penny.

I wish they would let us upgrade the 500GB drive in our current models. The only way to do it easily is with an external (although that's not a massive issue).

Unless game developers have recently made massive revisions to how games access storage (and they probably can't, because the only drive they can rely on being present is the stock drive) an SSHD won't provide noticeable performance benefits.

yes it does - faster zoning and faster loading, which adds to the entire experience and coawdoody players want to the `1st` on the map ;)

I've just had a look at the controller - it looks nice, but $150? (Which will probably translate to close to £150)

    Nah....

Forget the SSHD announcement, that controller looks very nice indeed! £120 at Amazon or Game (preorder) is my birthday present sorted this year :D
