Slough is mainly full of industrial areas though, and I think the excellent links out from Slough mean it just isn't as bad as up North I seem to live in the 20th best place to live. Whee!
There's some really nice people here, but yeah the majority of the area is full of swell-heads and idiots. This place has a problem of being an underachieving town. People walk around acting like gangsters, Thinking they;re above the law and authority. The place suffers because of the idiots. The sooner I can get out of the town the better, but i'll always be proud of being a smoggie.
Werent voted top 3 times in a row, were 2nd behind hull first time 7th last year i think and 1st this year but funny how the parts they show on TV are all getting knocked down lol But well yeah theres bad areas same as anywhere else but people are friendly and I like it also been to alot worse lol
Saw the thing on TV tonight, apparently Edinburgh is the best place to live in the UK in 2007. Only place in Scotland to even get a mention, good or bad. Makes me proud to be Scottish. Shame none of our sports teams do...
yeah we've been voted in the top 10 worst places 3 years running, error on my behalf! Wonder where we'll be next year with all the new developments going on
Grange town is still classed as boro unfortuanetly. So are the likes of palister park Grove hill Whinney banks. Stay away from them if you value your trainers/watch/car/money
The whole poll is flawed when the nicest place to live in the country clearly isn't in any town or city... boro must be pretty bad to be worse than coventry tho!
Class I grew up in Whinney Banks and moved to Marske when I was about 9 or 10, after 3 cars got stole and house got broke into 4 times in a month think the police said alot of career criminals had just moved out of prison thats why the sudden trouble lol As I like to say I come from the ghetto and represent brap brap
