A/V MIDI Composition Software

    I thought this'd be better off in AV rather than Software because I'm likely to get a more knowledgable response.

    I simply wondered if anyone knew of any free/cheap MIDI Composers? Not one with a keyboard input read, just with a score sheet that I can add to.

    I've Google'd but found nothing great.

    If you like oldschool there are plenty of free trackers about, skale, buzz etc are all fairly decent

    As far as actual sequencers go FLStudio can be had for ~30 squids in its express version, though its prolly worth shelling out for the normal / producer edition depending what you want to do. Producer supports asio and various other bits and pieces

    midi software i have used and is realatively cheap in comparison are:

    Voyetra Midi Orchestrator Plus

    and

    Coda Soft's Finale or Finale Notepad.
