Yea I'm new, and was looking for modding forums to get some help as I've never done this. First thing I did was make the plans:
    Plan part 1
    Plans part 2
I think the water cooling set-up is correct, not sure, but I have the worst budget ever, probably won't get over 200$, probably less. So if you could point me to the least expensive ways to make a reliable water cooling set-up for just the CPU, and any fans really need to be quiet, my current case is so damn loud, you can hear it from upstairs.
Well thanxs ahead for help given :D

P.S. I might not mod it, depends on the funds available compared to prices :sigh:

For $200 you could easily make a good setup. Ive been buying 2nd hand and so far I have a Eheim 1046, P4 TDX, Maze4 GPU and 2m of Tygon for £57 (~$100) all I need is a res and rad and Im sorted, I think.

Second hand is definitely going to be cheaper than new.

Ebay have some, but not a lot of good stuff.

When you have 75 posts you can get to the Sale/Trade forums here and buy whatever is offered there, its where I got most of my bits from.

That pump is not the best choice for the other components you've sourced. It is a great pump but is more suited to low flow.

I know the feeling... I've still got like 50 more posts to go before I can see the for sale forum. And by that time I'll have bought most everything I need.

And for cheap rads, you could try a car breakers yard. I got a heater matrix from a 2003 model Corsa for £5.

I don't have a car breakers yard anywhere near my house, would take about a 3 hour drive before I find one.
So I'll just have to spa- post my way through... :D

Even if you have to buy a new heater core it will be about half the price of a special built rad, in my area anyway. I got two '86 chevette heater cores for not much more than a BIX, and the HCs are quite a bit larger. Also an '86 chev. HC has approximately (very loose calcs. done here) the same surface area as a BIX2. I doubt the performace is the same as a BIX2 since you can only get one 120mm fan on the HC instead of two... but still. It just wont be as pretty and you may (probably will) have to mod it a bit... but that's the fun part.

    Just my 2 cents.

Allright, so I'll have to drag my parents into getting me to a junkyard, get a car rad from the yard, mod it, install on the comp, buy a pump, create my egg-shaped reservoirs, get the tubing, make my waterblock and I'm done.... phew
