Loses connection to the server.

 

Same here trying to connect to the official. I guess it hasn't been updated to 1.2 yet?

 

It has, or atleast I think it has. wait, you mean the original server. Yeah, MPUK haven't updated it yet I don't think, seems as though it'll be quite a while too.

I was on it. Then did a little bit, then got that error and lost connection.
Tried to reconnect, and it said it couldn't.

Hence why I thought the server was down.

Tried connecting again when XM said it wasn't down.
Connected fine.
Started building again.
After a while, same error.

 

Cerberus90 - it's your net connection to the server. I get it all the time from Taiwan.

Its never cut out on the MPUK server though.

I may not have the best internet either, but its fine for everything else.

Just been on again for a bit, and didn't get the error.

 

Whoever mentioned the iConomy mod - it looks interesting, although I don't exactly get how it works and it requires hMod apparently. I'd certainly be up for running a shop as I frankly can't be fecked to mine, but would like to buy or exchange some iron and diamond etc

Survival server looks good.
However, I'm not too fussed about it. I'd rather get back on official MPUK server and get stuck in battleships again. Which is why I'm now in the process of downgrading my client.

 

J, could you come to the survival server for a bit? I have a simple electronic problem in need of solving.

You didn't mention Minas Tirith in your speech about the official MPUK server. What is happening with it?

 

Trying to connect to the MPUK server and it's failing. I appear to join and I see nothing but blue then I land on some blocks and get an error.

WTF am I doing wrong?

 

Well, Minas Tirith ... it is a warm memory of many a night constructing it, and now it is merely a blip in the past recollected only as a digital imprint in a map we will not be able to load onto the server. Stickeh said he would move all our old structures across, but thus far he has not. However, I suppose we can do without most of the stuff, and we can restart Minas. Find a good spot for it, and I'll happily restart the build. In fact, as soon as battleships is completed, I will go in search of a suitable cliff myself! Rest assured; Minas Tirith will be built on our server, and this time around we will make it better!

 

You need to downgrade to version 1.1.

Edit: I keep seeing you trying to connect, but you will not be able to. The server has not been updated, and hmod has certainly not been updated as we are still awaiting the release of an updated hmod version. Therefore, in order to log on, you will need to download version 1.1 of the client, overwrite a couple of files in your appdata/.minecraft/bin folder in order to log on.

Edit2: Also, who is this other new guy I see trying to log on?
