yeah new nether so we get all the new stuff from 1.8. Make world18 the default world too

 

What new features are coming in 1.9?

 

I guess its decided?
Keep it as one for now (change world18 to default)

Regenerate nether at 1.9 and remake the portal/tunnel network in there.
With multiworld we can keep all the old worlds, so it doesn't make much difference.

 

This way we will still only get 3 strongholds in the world. But we could create another 1.9 world...? Just for exploring - no actual building.

 

world18s not that big, just explore that one.
ill create a world19 when released but I dont know if you should build on it (not a good idea)

 

So, I think i may be a victim here. I've gotten on after a weekend of not playing and my house is partially blown up, could have been a creeper incident and thats fine, But the tower I've been working on by spawn, the big stone one. It appears some one has harvested my pistons from the front door.

Edit- My minecraft name is iismatthew

 

It was definitely thievery, no way a creeper would have done that damage (the piston one, the other place did look very much like creeper damage).

MISCHIEF IS AFOOT!

Try and greif in my company, I dare you.

Edit2: He also did the 'creeper explosion' in iismatthew's house, it was no creeper. TNT

BTW do we really need a 1.9 world? Nothing new between 1.8 and 1.9 regarding world generation? The missing snow biomes will show up in 1.9 once we've explored the map further out I should think.

 

-cause I really want snow.. I'm not Norwegian for nothing..

 

We dont need a 1.9 world, you can extend the 1.8 map to make snow appear.
Or an "admin" can do /snow to cover 100 block radius with snow.

 

Dear Survivalists,

I have a request for you all.

If you are griefed, could you please refrain from fixing it manually? This will make finding out who did it a lot harder. We have a new and better logging tool running so rollback is not an issue (sorry again #'s).

So, if you are griefed, please contact an admin to let them find out who did it, ban that person and then roll everything back to the way it was.

Thanks for posting this for me =D
It made it harder to locate the griefed area in iismatthew's house because it had been covered up, I need to physically see the griefed area/blocks so I can check them for signs of tampering .
Yeah, we dont need to ever rollback again!
