    Canon, alpaca, etc.. our work on the straight section of the tunnel past the curve wasn't saved. :( Argh...

    apparently not update....

    the client downloaded and updated itself, but when i try to connect to sticks server i get a "client out of date" message.

    and now MC.net isnt responding...

    Bad news guys , stick tells us on his Blog that minecarts mob killing and taking damage for SMP
    wont be until the "Beta" so :( , and i just got the update too , cant find any ghasts tho.

    Yes, though Notch did state that "minecarts still won't work well", which is better than the previous "won't work at all". However, tracks will work so we can start laying down tracks, and prepping the various routes. Also, redstone has, according Notch, been fixed.

    Edit: Aw crap. Stickeh's turned the box off, no go this morning I guess :/

    Yea, just read his twitter:

    Minecart's don't work well, but now don't cause crazy data loops.

    Tracks can be laid in prep - he's aiming for beta release before the end of the year. I don't see why we can't get the tube setup ready :)

    Redstone now works in SMP! (Or works "better")

    Biomes work in SMP too so our map will update.

    Stairs no longer auto-turn! WOOT!

    Furnaces now face the opposite direction to the player when planted

    Fishing rods work + there are fish apparently, and they can be cooked.

    After reading all this, I'm much happier with this update :D

    Yeah I just checked this out the fish aren't mobs though , when your float goes down then you right click and a dead fish comes flying at ya!
