    Hey, little advice needed.

Ok so I have a mac mini with itunes and a load of albums.
I have a Sony MiniDisc player too, is there any way to get the songs from itunes to the minidisc within OSX?

    Cheers!

Yes! (netMD is the usb function right?)

Dont want to have to go through playing all the songs instead of just transfering.

I reckon the usb connection from the MD should work with your OS X. I suggest trying it, and googl'ing for it.

After some research i have to say that there is NO chance in getting songs from itunes strait to your MDplayer. The songs on itunes are MP3 for the most and Sony`s NetMD uses ATRAC3. Sorry but you have to use sonys program for that

I swear I remember an old run of Apple ads on TV that touted the mac's awesome MiniDisc compatibility.
