    Hi

I have to 1Gb sticks of PC2-5400 in my system at the moment, does anyone know if it would be ok to add PC2-6400 RAM. I understand i'll still be limited to the top speed of the slower RAM but wanted to know if they generally play nicely together. The MB is an Asus P5B if thats any help.

    Thanks for your help.

If your motherboard supports it, it will accept it but it will downclock it to ppc2-5400 speed (do you mean pc2-5300?)
