Send the pc to me and you'll have my undying love for all of eternity.

Dunno if that's a good thing though.

Keep your man love to yourself and I'll keep my hardware to myself. :)
The hardware from the PC I just won will get transplanted into Mk.6 to make it more up-to-date. ESPECIALLY the video card which is WAY faster than the 6800GS I was going to use. I've never owned a top-of-the-line card so that's what I'm most excited about.

Wow congratulations. Now where's the update? :hehe:
Certainly this is one of my favorite projects and it deserves nothing less than the finest of hardware so keep up the good work.

The "Update" that nobody is going to like

My arthritis is really bad. I have had no consistency in my mobility for the past 2 months. The past 2 weeks I have been unable to move comfortably or attend my classes. As a result have had to drop everything I registered for in this semester.
I've been on trial medications with little or no success since March. I went through all of the non-invasive oral medications that were available for treating inflammation. The most recent trial medication had to be injected into my thigh once ever two weeks. That doesn't seem to be working and since any stronger medications could have serious side effects I need to start the examination process over again at Johns Hopkins in order to determine why it is that nothing has been working.
At present I am unsure when I will be able to make headway on this project, let alone in my studies and the other assorted things I have my fingers in.

I'm extremely thankful for my family. I also very thankful for the very patient employer I have at present who has allowed me to do what little I can from home, or whenever I can manage come in. I'm also thankful to all of you for your support, whether I did anything to earn it or not.
I DO NOT have any plans to outsource any of the work on this project. It is mine alone to complete whether I finish it in this year or the next. It's everything I have been planning and developing for the past 3 years. It's not that I don't trust anyone else to do the work, but rather that I want it to stand as a work purely demonstrating my own effort and resolve.

I will keep an eye on this thread and post anything I have to report.
    The "Intermission" starts now.

Your case is looking great and guess what...we won't go anywhere.

You just get better and finish the mod when you can, I bet no-one has forgotten about it when you come back from your "intermission". Great work, keep us posted when something new happens.

    Hope you'll get better soon.

I enjoy your work, and I can't wait to see it completeed, but as for your inflammation, have you thought of capsaicin treatments to temporary relief of symptoms? It provides about a week of relief before symptoms get bad again, and it merely masks the inflammation pain, any joint pain or anything else will still be felt, but inflammation can be treated.

I don't get joint inflammation, I also don't have any inflammation markers in my system. I haven't responded to Mobic, Arthrotec, Celebrex, Methotrexate, or Humira. Feldine was the only thing that worked, but when my symptoms worsened it's effect became less and less. Either I developed an immunity to it, or my symptoms are more than it can overcome.
I'm fairly sure there's more than just seronegative rheumatoid arthritis plaguing me.

I'm sorry your condition inhibits so many activities in life. However this is my favorite mod on bit-tech due to all of the original ideas and effort that has gone into it so far. This case goes beyond aesthetics or functionality alone and combines the two in an instance where the sum is much greater than the individual aspects. I hope you have better luck in finding out what’s wrong and how to treat it so you can get back to class and this project.
