In the small town of Dublin, about 3 hours west of Fort Worth, Texas, they still make Dr Pepper the way it was done decades ago. They don't use that nasty corn syrup. No, they use 100% pure cane sugar. It's SOOOOOOOOO much better than normal dr pepper, or vanilla coke for that matter. To give you some idea of how amazing it is, I can buy a few crates of cans, bring them back here, and sell each can for $1. Really really REALLY good stuff.
love the stuff......drink it all the time (max).... but, what i realy miss up here in ca na da...is redbull....i got kind of hooked on the stuff in ireland a few years ago, and i can get any here...... as for the vanilla coke...havent tried it...is it realy good?
on the topic of red bull, i had one today, and one yesterday. on to bigger and better things. "merlin's energy source"! the greatest of those tiny canned energy drinks. it tastes like crap (maybe more so than red bull), and i'm not even convinced it's effective, but the name makes it worth the $ in my opinion. i had one, and saved the can. i'm thinking of getting more, just as a novelty. thinkgeek used to sell a dracula themed drink by the case. i wish that still existed... oh yeah, and vanilla pepsi (like anything pepsi) would be much better than vanilla coke. adding a drop of baking flavor to a gross drink doesn't help much, imo (sorry to any v.c. fans.) coke is the apple computers of the softdrink world, anyway. one more thing, to make sure almost everyone is addressed on this thread, doctor pepper fans check this out. it's quite amusing. Dr Pepper rip-off page ...and there are more if you look around.
The CANNED stuff is great. Don't make the mistake and drink the bottled stuff. For some reason they taste different. The bottled one starts off tasting like vanilla coke, then after a while it begins to taste like carbonated water The canned stuff is the stuff to buy.
You only like DrP cause you're all addicted to the caffine. It contains more caffine then ANYTHING else on the market, even coke, coffee, pro plus, red bull/energy drinks! Cant stand the stuff myself, tastes like some has just urinated into a can of pepsi (yea i dont like pepsi either ) Im a coke @ 3ºC man myself. None of this flavoured water "diet" stuff.
DrP gets me thru exams... only cause the vending machine@school doesn't sell pepsimax ... but the caffeine is a good substitute... its at 9am when you've drunk a litre already that you are ready for your exam
Coca-Cola for me, otherwise Sprite once in a while. Hate everything else, oh yeah Mountain Dew is ok - can't find it in the UK though Can't wait to try out vanilla coke!!!
Place vodka in ice cube tray... wait until water in vodka freezes, pour through a sieve, throw away ice that gathers in sieve, place filtered liquid back in cube tray.... repeat a few times until ALL water has dissapeared I.E. No more Ice. Gather a few friends from uni in someone ELSES room... add a few bottles of cheap Co-op vodka, lots of drinking games Tequila a decent porno (P.S. This is a LADS night in) then once someone is horribly drunk replace a normal shot of vodka with this deadly distilled vodka and watch and laugh for hours as the "victim" hugs the toilet for the rest of the night. Another good one is pour Absinthe into a shot glass (about 3/4) then add a quater of Baileys... leave to curdle for about 4 hours, make someone down it as a forfeit... they literally have to CHEW it!! Another forfeit is to make someone hold an Icecube with their tongue up against the palet of their mouth for a minute... hurts like hell!!! If you really want to see someone spew buy them a small (single shot) bottle of LEQUILA.... swallow drink, bite grub.. spew... HUH MrDT???
