Age of Conan here. I have played however; Planetside (My first and only truly loved mmo), SWG, EQ2, DOAC, WOW, Tabula Rasa, Shadowbane, MXO, COV/H and a few others but none really capture me as much as Planetside and SWG ever did.
Not a MMO person here sorry. monthly fees != want Though If I was to get a MMO, it would be Guild Wars for obvious reasons.
Recently started playing World Of Warcraft for the first time! Spent so much time on it I seem to forget what sunshine is... =(
None anymore. Used to play Silkroad, but ditched it a little over a year ago due to terrible servers and even more terrible co-users. WoW is...okay. Others, not really interested. If I were to get absorbed into an MMO, it'd have to be Star Wars-based and not be Galaxies. In all seriousness, if the rumors about a SW MMO based in the KOTOR-era are in fact true, I'm there.
That's the price of a free MMO unfortunately Puzzle Pirates had to be my all time favourite, shame it was ruined
Only MMO I've played is WoW and really enjoyed it. I could manage both playing and social aspects though, that I know some people cannot. I stopped playing during important times such as exam periods and have long periods of not playing. But as soon as my finals are done I'm going to reinstall it and play the new WotLK expansion when it comes out.
WoW and EVE, eve if I have the time to plan something. Its not really a game you can start and jump right into the action, theres plans and group forming, waiting for everyone to get to the same system, picking the right gear and flying to other stations because the one you're in doesnt have it etc. Where with WoW you can grab a sword and go hack some monsters up!
I play a bit of Lineage II and Final Fantasy XI. I really disliked World of Warcraft for some reason, lol.
Ultima Online... how dare you miss out the one that started the whole thing?! *shakes 1990s pixelated fist*
Guild wars here, great game and cost me many hours of the day. Although I stopped playing a year or 2 ago when my wife stopped playing. Wasnt as fun without my wife in my clan. Not heard of any of the rest and the subscription fee on WOW put me off that.
I play WoW pretty much daily, although normally only a few hours a night. I know I'm addicted but it doesn't stop me going to work, going out and socialising so I don't see that theres a problem. Having said that, I would have given up months ago if it wasn't that I was in a great friendly guild. I think the people you play with make a massive difference to the game.
Started with Everquest 1 back in 1999 a couple months after it was released and played for a long time. Then a number of my guildmates and I moved to WoW when it released. Played that for a couple years. Somewhere in there, tried DAoC for a month and didn't like it. Also beta tested EQ2 and played for a while. Beta tested and now playing Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.
