As long as you get it in before I start the voting thread the morning of August 2nd I'm OK with it. It might be a good Idea to get it in a day or two earlier though, just in case.

Does anyone know of a plugin to automatically fill in a curved face. This is going to take me hours. I have done a 90th of one face lol.

I cant think of any off the top of my head, it depends on what you're doing, could you offset the curve by 1mm or something and then push/pull the face?

    Or could this work somehow

Its difficult without actually seeing what you want to achieve, but thats a secret right:thumb:

Can I assume that perspective drawings are acceptable?

Pencil to Paper and Adobe's Illustrator are my preferred mediums, and I haven't had the opportunity to stretch my legs for a while.

It's more than capable. Of course in considering the 'no-rendering' rule I'd keep it to a more simplistic result.

    Verdict?

Its not really a secret since no one can copy me. It's got a straight line at the bottom and top and the two sides of the face are curved and it kinda twists the face up so the squares have to be tiny. I've done next to none of it and it will take me hours

Thats what I'm working on. Very very time consuming filling the faces in. Any ideas to speed it up a bit? Otherwise there will only be half a case.

I dont understand? There are 45 squares so i knew where the curve had to go because my brain doesnt work at 2 in the morning and I have to make tiny faces because it wont let me make 1 on each side.

ahhh i see what you were doing now, Sketchup doesnt work on my netbook but im fairly sure it would have been easier to draw the square and pull it up to the cube height you want, then select the top face and rotate it 45* around the center, which would twist the side automatically.

EDIT: that doesnt work, its too blocky. Im not sure if theres an easier way but using the soap bubble plugin this just took 3 mins.
