    Oh snap, i need to get started! I have a plan for this, it may or may not fit the theme very well, but it's all about the process anyway!

    Great headstarts by Cheaps and editor by the way, as always :D

    haha cheaps, forgot to say that, but the model is 10x bigger then what it should. i always model 10x larger in SU, otherwise it breaks small sized faces.

    Just soften the faces and the edges by 20-30 and it's all good after that.

    bentleya, it doesn't have anything to do with the smoothing. it's that SU can't handle faces that are smaller then 1mm by 1mm very well, so when you create curved surface it often looks horrible or some parts are missing

    yeah, they just foobar and disappear, no way of making them coming back.
    Really annpying bug, especially considering it should make no difference at what scale one is drawing, as soon as u scale it up it works, huh ?

    A SFF competition! :D

    I hope I'll get time to do an entry for this competition!

    Is there a special theme for the cases? like gaming, htpc or is it whatever one prefers?

    you can do it like you want, doesn't have to be a gaming pc, can be htpc, etc... you just have to use a m-atx motherboard :)

    Quick questions:
    Is there a limit to the amount of m-atx boards we can incorporate into the design? And can we use custom design boards that don't exist? (as long as they fit to m-atx dimension specs)

    Oo I go away for a day and there is so much to catch up on! seems like everyone's in again this time :)

    @ cheap - Excuse the ignorance but WTH is Betelgeuse other than a giant star? lol see your rolling out another cheapskate masterpiece :p makes me think of some sort of futuristic pill box for a space station :rock:

    @ Confusis - More than 1 matx? what you got planned :jawdrop:

    @ Metric - Nice to have you along for the ride dude.

    Not sure if I'll carry on with this or work up on a new idea.

    @confusis - :lol:
    @editor - Sorry, meant Beetlejuice.
    I say continue with the design, but try to make the base open like the top.
    Also- Check the filename for my project's name.:naughty:
