Thanks for the comments Guys! We're overwhelmed with retail part commitments in the mills, so I met with owner of a local machine shop to take on our new retail parts for 2013, which include the ATX billet motherboard spin-off from the tech bench for frozencpu and any custom one-off parts like four 680 GTX waterblocks for this build. Hopefully this move will turnaround things faster for us. I brought the drawings for everything to them yesterday.
You betcha, but we'll "git r done" Here is how the Aquaero is install in the chassis shroud Leak Tested Waterblocks on the Asus Rampage 4 Motherboard, Andrew created the recipe for the "Rebel Alliance" Red coolant with advice from our sponsor, Mick at Mayhems Dyes
On Friday, Mosquito came into the shop as volunteer camera man so we'll be posting another video update of our progress soon. We installed the EK 480 radiator in the ceiling of the Cosmos II, I'll get photos posted soon! and the Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper Quad 120mm Radiator will go in the front http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...xoS_UT60_Full_Copper_Quad_120mm_Radiator.html I liked the Copper fasteners they include!
I need to get sick more often! I came back and bt slaps me in the face with a WALL of updates! Can't wait to see what your gonna pull with a few copper bolts. Or, should i say your prodigy! I simply love where all this is going. Git 'r done, indeed!
Thanks for watching and commenting guys! Andrew and I installed the EK 480 radiator with the 120mm Typhoon cooling fans. The EK Reservoir caps, Radiator shroud and Typhoon blades were painted in the same Grey and Red paint, used to paint the exterior of the Cosmos II case. We'll have another update soon!
Now see here, this fine case bill has here, there ain't no german 'bout that enginirming. That there is 'merican engineerang. They just dun got them parts from germany Spoiler I couldn't stop myself. I can assure you I nearly had stroke keeping myself from laughing hysterically while typing that.
Haha, ...Andrew and I keep telling ourselves... to "git r done!" Hmmm, and thinking about it... We have a huge combination of parts from all over the world
This gets better and better. Are the copper screws going to be visible at all? If so you might want to consider artificially aging them to fit in with the rest. May the Schwartz be with you.
Great work as always. Can't wait to see the plates for the GPU's. Have you decided how the tubing is going to run for the 2 reservoirs?
Thanks for the posts guys! The goal is hiding all of the tubing out of sight. Andrew in the workshop, he revised the connectors a bit and started routing the lines and tubing for the 480 EK radiator on top. This radiator has it's own EK Res on top, the other EK Res will connect to the front 480 for the quad 680GTXs. I recorded his progress for Part 3 of the videos highlighting his build, that will be posted HERE. Notice there is no cable holes in the MB tray for the ASUS Rampage IV, the lutro0 individually sleeved cables will curl and tuck under the MB. The Typhoon fans were painted to match the red on the exterior of the case.
Looks good, I'm really liking it! The fans (gentle typhoons right?) look a bit purple'ish I think though.
Nice job on the tubing management. This thing is going to weigh a ton when it's done. keep up the great work
