Yay! Some activity in my favorite thread! I don't remember anyone sticking to the 5 pic limit. I think I posted 7 for that contest.

 

Those concepts look good, both of them.
I like the cooling solution Dark~3nergy has made, even though I don't understand how it will work
And for some reason the start Editor22 have made strikes a cord, I like it. The placement of the reservoirs makes me think of a submarine or some other aquatic vessel.

 

and a great one at that. My mind just goes wild with how the case for this will look

OK, Part of the prize pool is finished.
...not cleaned up yet, but finished.

-Custom DDC pump top. It's far from perfect, but if you squint, it's awesome. (Barbs and tubing not included.)


-The project log is mixed in with the Gwass Gween log. More porn can be sought there.



I will be supplying the mounting screws and poorly made grommets only. You have to find your own barbs.

 

Ugh. I'm a total noob at SU and I've had to start my project over 3 times due to my inability to do what I want without it becoming a mess of structures for lack of a better word.

I'll keep trying in between my studies and hopefully have something to submit before the deadline

Cheap! that top will fit puuuurfectly into my current build, I really need to free up some more time and get modeling lol

 

Why did this have to coincide with the start of uni!! I might have enough free time to come up with something, however my ideas are so complicated, I can't see enough time to model them.

Great start made by many, will be keeping an eye on this thread for sure!

 

A new picture of a somewhat improved look inside the case. Everything that should be bolted is bolted together, and I made a little cover for the RAM waterblock, complete with a possible WIP logo for the project!

 

@Dullonien - Uni has been trouble for the fall competitions.

one side for GPUs and one side for CPUs and RAM, completly submeged in mineral oil

Great design dark! I had jotted some ideas down that also seperated the GPU's from the MB etc. As this is a design competition, why not? Long enough flexible risers could be made.

Looking good Editor. I'm liking the clean lines of both designs here.

the colour is not going to be like that at all, it looks very bright because it's not rendered. it's much darker and deeper. though I might use purple or red, don't know yet

The tubing layout is confusing me, Dark. What's the flow path?

-The only thing computer related so far is tucked under the grilled section. There's a 3x120 rad in there.

the cone shaped things look a bit weird though

thanks, there are two loops, one for each "tank". goes like this
tank=>res=>radiator=>res=>pump=>tank

 

@John - Yeah, I want one of those. I'd name it George and take it with me everywhere.
@Dark - I was trying to make venturi (plural?) like you see on recoilless cannons. It looks odd on a giant revolver.
