Hey! Right, you may recall that some time ago, i broek my mobile phone and was wondering what could be done without insurance... well, these have been the offers presented to me by orange...

    £100 and £5 a month insurance for a repair/new phone.
    £250 for breaking the contract

Now, neither of these options to me seems like an option i can afford. So i was wondering, has "anybody" got any suggestions so i can get something cheaper. Like do any other providers pay for a break of contract if you sign up to them ?

Maybe orange will lower the price if i tell them i am going to find a new provider ?

ANY Suggestions welcome,. I really dont wanna have to pay £100 to get this ******* fixed.

Can't you just buy a replacement phone? Long as it's on orange or unlocked you can use your old sim with it... why not just put up with an older phone (though £100 will buy you a very nice one) until your contract's up?

because im on a contract. Apparantly im contracted to this phone only! Its like a 3G Phone (orange SPV E200) So its well expensive!

This is so annoying. I would have thought it'd be nice and cheap so i can keep spending money which they get. Phones cost a measly amount to make compared to what they get from my custom! ARGH!

edit: actually you may be right. i need a new battery though for my old phone, so ill get that then try :)
