Have you tried clearing your Motherboards CMOS and restarting?

no coz i'm not familiar with CMOS or BIOS stuff. can you give me some guideline on how to clear my motherboard CMOS. Question: could it be a resources problem. apparently, there is an irq sharing conflict?

Normally when ever I've had issues of this nature clearing the CMOS has fixed it for me.

To clear your CMOS you will have to check your motherboards manual. On my DFI Lan party KT400a (yes old I know) for me to clear the CMOS I have to power the system down and move a jumper leave it in place for 30 seconds and then put it back.

It could be a resource issue but these days you should not get them as the motherborrds BIOS should be smart enough to sort them out.

If clearing your CMOS does not do it them take everything off your mother board and plug it in 1 by 1 to see where the issue lies, IE start off with just 1 stick of memeory then plug in the gfx etc until either your whole system is working or you find the component that is causeing the issues.

You can just remove the battery from the board to reset the CMOS. Take it out for about 10 mins then put it back in a restart

    Here's your mobo:
Now find Wally... I mean "CLR_CMOS" of course ;) This is the pin that you will want to short after having powered off and unplugged your machine.

Hint: It's just next to the battery.

Firstly clear the cmos. Then boot it up. If it works fine well adn good else you have to manually select VGA card in Bios Options. I have the option to select external graphics card in my bios.

thats a good question, where did you get the error's from that you showed in the first post? just going from memory I dont think that board has onboard video. but if it does and you are able to use that, have you disabled it in the bios when you try to run the video off the video card?
