So my PC has decided not to boot and I think my mobo may have gone south but I just need a little confirmation.

Basically I'm getting no form of output from the machine, no BIOS output, but all monitors report cables connected. I then tested with the HTPC graphics card and that produced the same result, no output. Fans are spinning up and there are no random BIOS beeps.

So is my mobo dead? And if not is there anyway I can get some output back?

The mobo in question is a Gigabyte GA-P55M-GD2.

So ignore me, a little more google-fu has provided me with a fix but not with an answer of why it happened.

Cycling the power with no power going into the machine has cleared what ever problem the machine had and it's now in the process of configuring the umpteenth windows update.
