Motherboards mobos that work with tesla K40m

a few months ago I buyed a tesla K40m for CUDA work but the card would not work on any of my boards (in windows it says cannot allocate resources and in linux it says the card cannot get a interrupt, acpi:noirq manages to boot the card but then says memory not accessible), I searched for a while now any site I could find that can tell me which mobo do I need for it but there are no results anywhere :x the only remote hint of mobos that might work are supermicro socket 2011 boards, but there is no clear indication that they do :x

 

Tbh that sounds like either the card is faulty or you're trying to run it under a 32-bit o/s...

 

nvidia says the card is not compatible with custom computers, only nvidia verified systems with custom BIOS but there should be a list somewhere with this verified systems

 

If that's indeed the case then you're looking at workstation type affairs... HP Z series, Dell Precision, that kind of thing.

Teslas are a fairly niche product, so ultimately compatability problems aren't a huge surprise...

 

yes I figured this much but those company mobos don't explicit say that k40m will work :x
they only sale complete "qualified platform list" computers not mobos :x

ok I checked and the HP Z440 Z640 and Z840 are working with tesla K40
