Modding Mod ideas for this el cheapo case? (56K=OK!)

    Maybe I should just use this case? It's got much better cooling, but it's quite noisy :D


    so, basically, this is my case. My best idea is to paint it all black, metallic bl00 or something inside, throw in a window, a cold caffode, and make the LEDs red. Anyone got any better ideas?
    Coz i can't think of anything original :wallbash:

    Yeah you have to copy them to the address bar. After that they load from the cache so that's probably why they work for you SiMonTiST.

    But I recon the only solution to beige box blues is to get a spray can out or vinyl dye which is supposedly pretty good.

    Check this thread First PC Mod Project and it shows what all I did to my completely bland and biege case. Might give you some ideas.

    I was thinking along the lines of something like that, only painted on the inside as well.

    Custom windows?

    And get rid of that hideous front bezel. FAshion one out of smoked acrylic. That would look nice. And there you go.. nice case.

    Yes, that bezel is fugly. I have no idea how I would make an acrylic bezel, though, because the bezel on tis case clips on/off, and you need to take it off to take the sides off the case. :( :wallbash:

    Get a hold of a piece of smoked acrylic. Cut it to the size of the front of the case and leave a lil over hang on the sides and top, about the thickness of your acrlic. Dremel out the slots for the bays and sand and buff. Get smaller strips to cover the sides where the front bezel used to cover on the case. That should fit all togehter correctly. The drill some holes in the case and acrlic and bolt the suckers in.
