I need to had more light inside else . after that i'll can considere it finish (even if a mod is never finish , imo.. ) if u want more pics on a particular part or in the building process just ask me. i cant post all the log (50 megs of pics ) thanks again <-- love this french looks like smil (just need some bread and cheese )
Glad to see you on bit-tech, your case is really on of my favorites. (I even may try those flame effects on my ATI/AMD PC)
wow thanks zap - from u it's an honor .. congrat for your techtv price - yoshi give me just the dremel master grade thanks all
Certainly beats the usual "look at my lovely premodded tat with bling bling LED fans" some nice work id be proud to own that, seeing as mines half finished still. I like the way the front panel lights up.
Nice and clean Hi there Alonso, I really like the nice, clean visual lines on your case. Everything looks neat, tidy, and in its place. The inside appears fairly tiday as well - great job on the cable management. Even the flame cutouts look smooth, no sharp edges there. Can you give us an idea as to how long you spent doing all the cuts and grinding to get such clean edges on the metal bits? Keep up the good work! For the feet, you could go either way, really. I like the idea of seeing metal feet as an extension of the overall design. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing some lighted plexi feet, so long as the color compliments the other colors you have going on. -monkey
Best.first.post.I.have.seen.at.any.forum. That is a very well done set of mods. You have given me great ideas for my next project.
it's very difficult to evaluate the cutting time , i started to work on the case end january , i worked on it about 1h/day in the evening - when i 'm back from work - and the week-end. my gf can be probably much precise lol some pixs of the cutting process... pixs of the metal sheets cut.. and some pixs of how the front has been made.. i used lino (from the kitchen ground) - some rest , there not a hole now plexi , and mesh around (that's the new mc do burger...) well , i'm on the road again for a complete log tomorrow other pixs of the work (if u're ok of course..) ps : sorry for my bad student english
in the future i'll "superglue" them on the mesh , for the moment the base is large enough and the side fan bezel "auto glue" them. dont know if i'm very clear
Yea, that makes perfect sence. I'm a huge fan of flames and I love the unfinished look. I take it you put some kid of clear coat to protect the polished metal? It's a work of art, you should win a contest or something for that.
That's some really nice work! Looks like you brush finished a steal case.. looks too shiny for alloy. Did you? If so, how you stopping it rusting? I did something similar once, and tried all manner of varnish etc, but just dulled the finish.
