Modding Mod your own Gauss Rifle!

Would it be considered a fire arm?? what about modding it with electromagnets - wouldnt that be powerfuller? What about a multi ball bearing model?

 

they use the same principle to power that superman roller coaster like thingy at six flags ohio and on maglev trains in japan. sure you could.

 

hmm ... take several steel tubes, cut into sections and halves and magnetise them oppositly and try. could be an interesting mod.

 

if you use electromagnets, it would be a railgun, not a gauss rifle, using a different theory ...

I need one of these for the office. Although magnets and computers are usually not two great tastes that taste great together.
