Other Modding a WII power cable

Hi,

I use a WII in the campervan a lot.
Now the WII powerbrick gives out 12v.
The campervan has 12v (the TV runs on 12v)

At the moment, I use an inverter that turns my 12v into 220v, and then the powerbrick turns that into 12v.
It's noisy, ineffecient and rubbish.

I'd like to connect the WII directly to the 12v "cigarette lighter" style power connector.

Does anyone know the pinout for the WII powerconnector? Is it really 12v only?
Would it be as simple as getting a second powerbrick, cutting the cable that goes into the WII (special connector) and soldering on a (fused) "cigarette lighter" style power connector?
