has anyone tried modding an x-fi's led's (tghe little red logo box on the higher end 'fatal1ty' ones. we got them in stock in the store i work in today, and the lower end oem x-fi music card doesnt have the little light up box, but it does have the solder points on the board labelled led 1 and led 2. im debating getting this card as i need something to replace my ageing audigy 1, and being able to tag a couple of green or blue led's on to match my case lights would be nice. i don't know if the led's flash, glow or what as ive not had a chance to plug in the higher end one at work yet. anyone have any experience with these? cheers

I haven't tried to change it out, I like red. But it should be an easy swap. Actually if i remember correctly it's 2 3mm LEDs. -CollinstheClown
