    Let me tell you a little story
    my dad took a vacation in barcelona and he brought me these shoes

    The Minute i saw the shoes i was like this :eeek:
    What was in his mind when he bought this shoes :wallbash:
    So i decided to mod them but i had no ideas
    so i'm opening this thread to get your ideas

    Get fabric dye....dye them whatever color you want make sure to mask of the rubber parts. ;)

    rig it so that when ever you put your foot down LEDs flash, thats cool:hip: but bloody anoying to anyone who should notice them

    Ummmm, my kid had light up shoes when he was 2... even he thinks they're lame now.


    Do you have a fireplace? Best solution I can think of.

    i thought about painting them in black
    and to replace the NBA with a Quake or Unreal logo

    painting black sounds good.. use fabric dye as mentioned, (Dylon?), or even acrylic paint could work, even though that might make the shoe stiff.
    Maybe vinyl dye on the rubber parts?

    the logo looks embroidered on, so you might have to just make a patch and stitch that over it. IMO the quake logo looks best design-wise ;)

    Oh and be sure to dye or replace the laces.

    Take some cellophane and put a window in them. If you like long walks at midnight, put some ultra bright LEDs in there so that every time you take a step, it lights up the whole sidewalk.

    Put some cell phone vibration motors in them powered by usb so you can plug in and get your toes massaged while using the comp.
