Hi there, I was hoping someone on here could help. I am new to smartphones, and to modding, hehe. I found a site that will let me make my Verizon 6800 look like an iPhone at http://www.bestiphonetheme.com and downloaded the program onto my desktop. How do I get it from my desktop and onto my phone? Thanks,
It depends on the sort of file it is. If it's an .exe then it should install when you run it through active sync. If it's a .cab (and the better solution), you copy the file to the phone and run it to install. There are a few ways to copy it across, personally find the simplist is to connect it to your PC with a USB cable and your phone appears in 'My Computer'. Hope it helps, oh and welcome!
wharrad, You were very helpful. That clears up a lot. It's a .cab file. I connected my phone and i moved the file over to my phone that showed up in my computer. It installed beautifully. Thanks so much!
