The reason no replies have been received is because you have posted your question in the wrong forum.

    Moved to 'Modding'.

Well It is not clear what you want. well not to me any way. This keyboard is it cordless, if so I would forget about putting blue lights in it unless you want it to chew through batteries. If it is not cordless take out the curciut board containg the leds carefull not to brake it or the key membrane most likly attached to it some how. Look at the leds and notice a flat edge on them take note of this position. Now take a soldering iron and touch the solder connecting there legs to the circuit board and heat the 2 pads per led and wiggle the led out while the solder is still flowing. now get you blue leds and place them with there flat side in the same position as the original leds. now solder them in and doble check your connection to make sure the solder joints are clean and you did not bridge anyhting you were not supposed to and woolah blue lights if that is what you wanted. As for the alu cover I dont understand do you want it to look like aluminium in which case you should paint the plastic or do you want it to be aluminium in which case I have no suggestions caus I wouldent have a clue.

paint could work, but if you paint the keys, you've gotta use some sort of transfer stickers or something to get the lettering back.
if you can find some good colors of vinyl dye, use that instead, as it stains the plastic, and won't leave that weird feeling that paint sometimes does. Also, if you just use dye on the keys, and the if the color isn't black or something else that's dark, the lettering will most likely be unaffected.

    No no, paint the keys.
We're nerds here, who still looks at the keys when we type?

I wrote that looking at the keys for "looks" and "type"

    Shut up.
