Got a PS3 - will not be buying this version.

 

Makes me wonder if they think the game is not going to be so good.....there is no demo.....now the pc version is delayed...many people pirate on the pc first to see if it is worth buying on a console as console piracy is not so wide spread. Many then prefer to buy particularly online games on the 360 because xboxlive is very good easy to use and fewer hacks but this will prevent them from trailing it at all if they want to buy early.........Uhhmmmm....I'm getting suspicious and will now wait for some critical reviews.......trouble is if I don't buy on release day I very often don't buy at all.

 

i also have a ps3, but i would rather pluck my own eyes out than play with a pad at 720p with no AA.


if they are trying to shift this gamer over to consoles they're wasting their time!!

Meh i'm waiting till after Christmas any way till its nice and cheap on ebay then i'll buy it.

 

Don't worry y'all I'm sure the pirate DRM Free version will be out BEFORE we can actually buy it, that will teach us dirty PC gamers for wanting to spend our cash

 

yea this is to get you to pay the £55 for a console version, as there is more profit in it for them.
shame on any one who buys it on a console, if they have a PC that can play it .
and If I had a console I would only use pirate games as £50 + is just way to much for games.

So the game is expensive and it'll contain some sort of online copy protection as well(probably). Now they're delaying the game probably because of piracy. Are they so stupid to try and sell games to pirates? They'll only screw those who'd buy the game! It seems big publishers are out of touch with reality, and it's getting worse every year...

 

Considering the rampant piracy that modern warfare received, I think Activision is well within it's right to integrate some kind of effective anti-piracy to stop cracked/hacked servers. Any on-line activation is to be expected with a modern multiplayer game. Sadly a 2 tweek wait makes baz sad, but if it means less thieving smacktards on servers then i'm all for it.

 

Activision = bunch of stark raving homos tbh.

 

Why dose everyone think the PC is the pirate king? i have said before i mod 360s i don't do the games but i do the consoles and i know 60% of 360 owners play coped games!

The games are sold £3-4 each down the pub and you don't see that with PC games if company's are so worried about piracy they should only put games on the ps3 as i don't know of any hacks for that yet

 

No such thing, this game will be cracked (on PC and Console) within a week if not quicker, end of. Theres not amount of anti-piracy that will ever stop that! Just let us buy the damn game!

 

it's funny nintendo wii is in the billions when it gets pirated.

 

I can't wait to see how many times MW2 will be torrented on XBox360 format. More than ever now it's going to be delayed on PC.
