News Modern Warfare 3 trailer released

Infinity Ward releases the first Modern Warfare 3 trailer, which includes lots of explosions.

MW2 is still at 60€ here which I think is insane. I wonder how much this will cost then?

 

It looks very, very grey.

It looks like they've decided to go easy on Russia and contraversially destroy a load of other cities

 

I think marketing wise MW3 may have hit on something better than BF3...MW looks like an all out dumb ass action flick, BF looks like a paced game with less omg it's all kicking off moments. We all know the masses prefer all out action....But let's wait and see....

 

Nah... I prefer tactics and teamplay (although sometimes teamplay sucks with a bad team)...

Your forgetting that the main people the made infinity ward great left...

 

If they have dedicated servers I will probably get this instead of BF3. Yeah I know that's kinda blasphemy for a PC gamer, but I simply prefer a faster paced shooter. I'll grab BF3 when I get a new PC next year, so I can enjoy it in all its glory.

 

Well I'm buying both. I hope BF3 is more like BF2 than BFBC2.

Looking at both trailers, BF3's vehicle action glimpse has me worked up the most!

MW3 needs vehicles in my opinion.

 

Infinity Ward lite maybe, considering like 40 personnel were fired or left during the whole MW2 debacle.
CoD is just turning into a spectator game. Taking you to locations you recognise and placing generic spawning enemies in your way to stop x happening to y while you look at recognisable landmark z.

BF3 for me s'il vous plait

 

They should upgrade their engine. Looks to old now. I must confess I like the real world scenario, but now BF3 looks more interesting.

 

I'm not sure, without exploding the video, that they could have put any more explosions in there.

I'm still not sure that wasn't a trailer for "Exploder part Four; Return of the Explosions" or something.

 

I'll get both. As long as i get several hours play out of a game I'm happy.
With a bit of online and off-line gaming.
"Explosions" bring em on....

 

On the whole it looks nice, but after the whole BLOPS mess, don't think I'll be buying any more activision games.......one bitten.......

Another question (which I probably know the answer too....) Why have PC game developers stopped with demos? Very few games have demos now a days.....then again, who'd have bought BLOPS if they've tried a demo....

 

Is it just me or does it look almost exactly the same as MW2 except now you're in cities you might recognised? For example, the magazine passes and the boat scene?

 

Depends if i can get it for a reasonable price, which i doubt...so ill probably abstain...
i have MW1 (PC) and Ive played through MW2 on my bros Xbox, didn't impress considering the £35+ price tag.
