aqua-computer.de and some partners have released this website - modmymachine earlier on this evening. Basicly - yet to watch the video - is like pimp my ride but for computers -- quoted - "The first video deals with the modification of Tommy's karaoke PC. It contains 23 minutes of fun, hardware and extreme modding ideas - including a special paint job, a unique TFT flipout mechanism, a front panel with 600 fully controllable multicolor-LEDs as well as two circuits of watercooling equipment to keep the high performance hardware at a cool and quiet level." enjoy - video at high quility is 414 mb so start downloading
also downloading, *hugs blueyonder 10mb going @ ~500kb/s, 10% done, 15 mins to go. It better be worth it, though it is ac watercooling
This looks bad, although it can't be worse than that Extreme PC garage crap that XFX sponsered. *Downloads*
what made me laugh were the accents, and how they completely copied pimp my ride too funny, you have to watch it lol Edit: after watching all of it kinda got boring, and their accents are sooo annoying
Tha acting is crap... In my opinion they should have taken more time on showing the actual modding. If they wanted this to be more realistic, they shouldn't have tried to imitate Pimp My Ride... But hey, i watched the whole video, so they got me huh
lol yer just watched it .. there should have been more of the actual modding but ah well first video more to come no doubt
Pulling this down at 700KB/s . It's sinking a few KBps every few minutes though as more people get it It's not that bad at all. Quite good fun to watch, although they didn't choose a dual-core . Oh yeah... Did he say "ass-bang" system!?
Yes, laugh at us We know it is far away from perfect. But we had a lot of fun and if you also have a smile on your lips we are happy for now
Well I thought that was a load of ****. It was so bad I watched about 5mins of it then skipped through the rest. I'll stick to pimp my ride.
Psshh. I think bit-tech should do their own version of this. We have got some amazing modders here as it is. If we could get sponsored WOW!
The format of shows like this just WON'T WORK, EVER! The whole idea of modding is pulling up your chair, loggin in to Bit-Tech and rushing straight to Project Logs to see how Defyant's new HPRes mod is coming on, or eagerly anticipating the design of MrWillyWonka's 5.25" drive tray drawer mod. Modding should be intividual, non-commercialised and done in stages with words and pictures. Thats my POV anyway. BTW: Could any of you decypher what any of the guys were saying in the vid?
hi there we know, that our spoken (and writen?) english is not quite perfect, but we tried to do a good modding-job. and i think we did it. to reach the quality of Pimp my ride we need the number of crewmember and founds they have when you had fun watching our video or looking at our site, then we did a good job.
Hey man, your english is fine it's either (a combo of) 3 things: My Ears My Equaliser Your Recording Envirionment/Hardware I'm beggining to think its the first two Nice idea but I think it's like trying to do a radio show on TV, it's either just not suited, or you need to find out what makes it "just work" (try asking Steve Jobs ). Good first try I guess, keep tweaking it and hopefully it'll be a success reguardless of my previous post. I think it's just gonna appeal to certain people, but just not me. Yes, I realise I'm a living contradiction!
