Other Monitor feels too bright,any recommendation to reduce eye strain?

    It doesn't screw up my monitor. But that's mainly due to the fact that my 2490's settings are built internally into the monitor as opposed to anything else.

    F.lux never messes it up for me afaik.

    I still need a calibrator.

    Somebody else who doesn't understand how Flux works :D ...so blames the app instead of reading the instructions.


    Flux doesn't adjust the monitor settings :D

    I've been using Flux for a couple of days after seeing this thread and i've noticed the difference now. It's not apparent as soon as you use it, you need to use it for a couple of days to truly see it for what it is. I wear glasses and I find that I do get some eye strain if i'm looking at a screen for an extended period of time.

    I think this application actually does help if you do suffer from eye strain; especially if you have to stare at a monitor for a long time. It may only be noticeable for a certain percentage of people though. I've now installed similar apps on my phone and tablet.
