I need a monitor to use with PC and Xbox360, thinking about Samsung 2253bw but it needs to scale the xbox360 signal properly(been told some monitors dont scale) and a button on monitor to switch between pc input on the DVI and xbox unput on the VGA alternatively any cheap KVM switches so then at touch of button I can flip my monitor and speakers between xbox and pc
Give it 2 weeks for the New Xbox Experience and you won't have to worry about scaling; 16:10 resolutions are being introduced.
are they introducing new resolution options in the next update? the same one that allows you to run games off harddrive?
sounds like your problem has already been solved, but just incase... If you don't mind spending a little extra, i highly recommend the Dell 2408WFP or similar. Very decent 24" screen, a little pricey, but you do get every single input connector you could possibly ever need (VGA, 2xDVI-D, HDMI, displayport, s-video, component)
I didn't notice that was happening! I was allready hugely exited over the save-to-HDD feature in 2 weeks, but i get native res on my monitor as well? wow
nice monitor but out of my price range, looking more for 22inch 1680x1050 gaming cause of price and also ati hd 4850/4870 will provide more longevity and better performance on current games with lower res
Yup. NXE is gonna be killer... and the ability to install is welcome... no more DRE's in Forza 2.... that AND native 1680*1050.... i need to get that update...
hmmm, thats interesting, given how cheap the x360 that is a tempting proposition for under my desk since i'd never get to use the big tv.
