Looking for a table mounted monitor stand for my Hazro 27".
Anyone used Arctic Monitor Stand Z1? Any good?
Or would you recommend any other?
    Ideally £50 max...

Didn't know Dell make desk clamp monitor stands - I need to find it, thanks

This one is interesting, what size of monitor do you have? Can you show some pics?
To have it installed as flat as possible, I'm guessing I would need to install it on either left or right side of back of the desk to get monitor in the middle?

one 24" and one 22", if weight is an issue I have the 24" backet screwed to the wall as well (to stop the desk wobbling) so that's always an option. I have the backets off set to get the monitors the positioned right, it was a real pain to get right but well worth the time and effort. (Depending on your desk I have them clamped to a peice of wood under the desk to spread the load on the glass desk, not sure this is entireley nessecary but better safe than sorry!!)

Cool! Can you tell me - what is in the back of that pole - are there holes that this screw hold level of the screen? Or is it just a clamping ring?

There's just the clamp, but you can tighten it with a spanner to, so I've had no problems with it moving

OK, so it won't slide down or anything? I'm only worried to come back from work and see my 27" monitor hit the desk;)
It's 10kg so in a max possible weight, I hope it won't make a difference compared to your 24".
What exact model is it? I want to compare weights..

That is a lot lighter screen:(
I'm not sure if 10kg would push it...

I have exactly the same clamp holding up a 27inch shimian.

    It's been perfect.

Cool, I was worried that the weight limit will be a problem.
Can I see some photo of the back how it looks with your screen?

Another question to you guys - if I wanted to push this arm with screen back as far as its possible to touch the wall - how far off set would be clamp (left or right side) to have monitor in the center?

The arm is about 20 cm long plus a bit for the monitor backet so 20-25cm

    Home now:

It's about 8-10 inches from centre point, marked by the centre speaker...

The rotation of the clamp to pole is neccesary to get the monitor as far back as i had with some freedom of movement for lazy bedtime viewing.

    Cool! Thanks for photos!
See - you have Hazro 27", exactly the screen I want to mount on this arm!:)
Now, am I seeing correctly - do you have additional piece of arm compared to Sp!
You have longer AND shorter piece, is that correct?
Can you skip that shorter bit?

Thing is I don't have space behind the desk - it stays 3cm to the wall and cannot move.
I would need to instal the stand as far on left as possible then use longer or even maybe shorter arm bit and then install screen along the arm. What I want to achieve is to have screen as far as possible from me and as close as possible to the wall.
    Do you think its possible?

    ah yes i see now,

SP!'s is shorter (teehee), you can remove the additional bracket that I have, but I quite appreciate the extra length.

The elbows are moderately free in their movement, I don't see why a 90* bend will be an issue.

One thing I'd like to say about these arms, they are damned rigid and sturdy.

    Sounds even better!:)
90 degree elbow wouldn't fit. I don't have that space like you have behind your desk.
I have around 2-3cm gap and wall goes straight after. Thing is I have small desk so I don't want the screen to go deeper in it, so best would be to have it as close the rear edge of desk as possible.
Is it possible to get out both arm pieces and simply mount this "vesa head" to the pole?
I think I could use either small arm piece or vesa head only...
..or I could use the whole shebang and install the poll on left side the desk to have screen in the middle;)
