    Hey guys,

So im a assistant at a computer consultant and recently they have had heavy monitoring on installed programs. So there goes my lovely firefox! Was wondering if you guys knew any programs to hide program or prevent this. or even to run firefox off of a cd or usb drive. help i can't live without using my own programs on work's computer!

careful, it may be in breach of your contract, but it is possble to run firefox from a USB pen. details on the support site.

also, be aware that it is likely to still be logged (both the fact that you use the program and the actual sites you visit).

See if they will allow you greater freedom during your lunch hour.

I'd go for the simple and honest answer, explain why you are using firefox and then let them give you reasons why you can't use a more secure browser :D

    Ditto..

    Go USB2.0 if possible.

Or, forget using their Windows install, take a Knoppix cd to work and run that.. :)
