    It's pretty common for the cabinet to rotate out from term to term.

    Yeh, but Colin Powell, thats a biggie, even though he is claiming it was always his intention to only sit one term.

    average career of a cabinet member is 3 years

    be did say that when he was interviewed during his first year in office, I remember seeing it on a news show like 6O minutes or something similar.

    It's too bad, Powell was the only one that I really respected. His policy of peaceful attempts and force when absolutely necessary. And then with a defined goal and exit strategy was defined by his distaste for war. A true warrior, he had seen it and had no taste for it. To this day I wished he had run with Clarke. That would have been a power white house.
