i just dont know what to get , 2 of these https://www.overclockers.co.uk/seag...nternal-hard-drive-st8000dm004-hd-39e-se.html , or just 1 of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01I4Q9FTI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_i-tjCb2JJ37G8 , it's mostley for storing my steam games.
Going on Seagate's specs the 5400rpm drive has a higher sustained transfer speed (220 vs 210), granted it's only 10MB/s on the OD, probably not noticeable, but still. If the OP doesn't mind losing some capacity and paying a little more WD black 6TB is probably the best all rounder in performance terms, if you want better cost per gig without sacrificing to much performance then it would be the drive you first linked to, if you don't care about performance and it's just about cost per gig then whatever is cheapest.
Or just delete them then download again when you want to play them? How many games do you play at the same time?
I'm keeping an eye out for a good deal on 8-10tb externals to shuck. For games I would recommend a cheap sata SSD. Crucial MX500 1TB £110 on Amazon. This has been as low as £56.52 last month. The 2tb can be had for around £210. If it's just for storage and you move the games you are playing to an SSD I would get a pair of the cheapest external 8tb you can find and pop them open.
