More records falling due to our great folding team!

Now we have finished November, let's look at the dramatic progress of the team. We had our best ever day, clocking in 4.4 million in a single day. We had our best ever week, with 26.5 million, our best 3 hour update with 798,000 points, and more importantly, we raked in 108 million in a single month, our best ever. To put in perspective, in July we managed a dismal 67 million points, meaning we've near doubled our PPD. Kinda insane huh?

 

Well Done Everyone,

I'm a happy bunny this morning as I achieved 294,000 points yesterday. That the biggest points jump awarded to me since I started folding! Well lets keep on folding and get back to the top 5 teams!

 

As in having 3 SR-2 machines?

 

Inspired by phoenicis insanity I should have a second SR-2 online in the next week or two so should give us another boost

 

Hmm inspiration. Were there ever socket 478 boards with pci express? I have a ton of 478 cpus and coolers and gt240's are quite cheap here right now.. hmm

 

Yes there is an Asrock S478 board with PCI-E I've got one here with a 8800GT running on it, did have a GTS450 on it but couldn't get it to run at 100% utilisation, didn't bother trying to work out what was limiting it.

wheres everyone finding money for SR-2 rigs, not just 1 but 2 lol crazyness but damm good news for our team and the science

In the new year think I need a farm rethink, IE sell most of it off and look into SR-2's!

 

I put in what I believe has been my best month or at least one of them to date in November, returning 313K points, and I'll level with you all - that's less than half my full production capacity at the moment.

I'm not quite sure I'll ever make it to getting SR2's involved and returning hundreds of thousands of points per day... my goal of 150K PPD out of 2 machines still remains though. At the moment I can get 90K PPD out of 3, but that will all change when the new quad 295 rig is finished early next year.

 

Fair play mate 150k will be damm good when you get it all running next year

Oh btw, ive tried numerous times to PM you back but it fails with an error every time so assume your inbox is full or something?! Sorry to say I have looked high and low for those screws mate but can't find em

 

IM back up to full speed now lads, all maintenance done so should be back up to circa 90 - 100 k points avg.......

It's not full, but you're not the first person to inform me of problems PM'ing me on here... I'll give Jamie a shout in the morning and see if he can get to the bottom of it. Don't worry about the screws, I appreciate you having a look for them, but I've ordered up a new set for it anyway to allow me to use the air block until I get the liquid block back onto it and get it incorporated into a loop.

150K will be very nice, and it will be great to be folding 24/7 again. I've missed it so much - it's almost like a drug!

Drug addiction would be cheaper! I have shelled out £2k on 980X Sabertooth and triple SLI eVGA 460s, hoping to double my 30k ppd

With all these new rigs coming online we should be able to surpass overclocker's ppd and might not be far off the Russians again. Congrats to us all, I think this is getting really quite exciting

was supposed to be getting two 460's on wednesday but wont get them till monday earliest due to the snow!!!

 

5,108,123 yesterday. We're now producing more ppd than the Ruskies. 50K+ is needed to get in the top 20, and 9 guys are producing 100K+
