You seem to be the guy to ask about 3d things. I just downloaded MAYA learning edition, and am trying to get it to run on a ME machine, AI keep on getting "not enough memory" errors, but I have the 512 it asks for, Do you know what I could do to get it running, or if it is impossible can you point me to a free 3d modeller that is at least fairly decent.
well i use 3ds max. i only got bout 300 megs on my HDD so im not gonna DL maya. i know that 3ds take a minimum of 256 RAM but im running it off 160 megs of SDRAM. try using 3ds max, its more widely used and there is a lots of sites with free models/tuts. ie : www.3dcafe.com well if theres is any questions ill post my email up here. i just got cable today so i gotta get new email addys (i wason AOL *shudder*)

ICQ? mIRC? my name in AIM is pizzaeatnmonkey and my ICQ number 121545900 hey my mIRC wont log on. on the main little screeny where you hafta pick a channel or sumthing for the program to log onto so you can join chat rooms, there is nothing in the drop down list. can someone help me? oh yeah i use ME too
If you are talking about #bit it is shut down, but Yes I had ICQ but barley used it. I can download AIM in a sec, but why. Is 3ds where you did all of those spiky type designs, know they are cliched But I like some of them if they are tastefully done. I have installed MAYA but it wont run, not enough memory(although he Alias|wavefront site says you need 2k or better to run I I thought I would try with ME, oh well) does 3ds cost anything?
ok hers your prob, Maya can only use win2k/xp (pro)/NT cause those are the APIs it uses, ME-9x-XP home can't use it.
