    in more words: I always liked the slight silliness of MK more than the seriousness of Tekken, plus the MK characters seemed to have more, well, character. That and in the latest MK the animations and combat are just excellent.

    Played Tekken 6 and the latest MK9 demo. I'd say tekken partly on personal preference.

    the fighting game I had the most fun with was easily Tekken 3 but I still think of Mortal Kombat first if you ask me which fighting game is the most iconic/best

    MK. Best fighting game since SF4. Tekken isn't serious, it's soulless. MK is just a damn load of fun. And it is the blueprint of how single player beat em ups should be done.

    Tekken went shite at Tag Tournament.
    MK went shite at 3 and stayed shite until now, MK9 is awesome and probably best fighter out right now.
    Soul Calibur ended at 2; 3 and especially 4 are utter crap.
    Street Fighter will always be awesome.
    DOA was the only one to really play with tag team type moves and that was fun but the rest was meh.

    Go old school with Star Gladiator and Battle Arena Toshinden!
