Opinions? I got the demo and enjoyed it and now quite tempted by a remake that goes back to it's roots. No silly added weapons or fighting styles, just pure childish violence. And it has Kratos <3 The preorder has the toasty fatality and almost worth it for that
It seems interesting i only play condition zero but its not online i like that one so I think as Movie i also like game too "Mortal Combat"

Early reviews looked pretty promising. I'm thinking I may trade in some old games of mine in exchange for this...
Right. Sold. Buying this weekend. Anyone who wants a bashing at this can find me on PSN: bawnslippy1, or leave your PSN name here and I'll reach out to you.
Picked this up on the PS3 a few days back and haven't been able to put it down since. The combat (or should I say...KOMBAT) is extremely fluid and you definitely can't get away with button mashing. Also....you have more freedom to create your own combos and (with practice) can do some wicked stunts and excessive damage. My longest string so far has been 12 hits....anyone get higher? Story mode is fun too...adds an interesting twist and challenges you to become proficient (somewhat) with all the different characters....otherwise I'd be Scorpian all the time.....GETTTTT OVERRRRRR HEEEEERE!!!!! EDIT: Only complaint I have thus far is that it's a bit too easy. I beat it on Expert my second day...which isn't saying much because I'm not that great at fighters. Looking foward to PSN coming back up. If anyone wants to fight I'm down!
honestly? just turn it to easy mode and he taunts more often. he's such a **** boss character he's not even worth it. if anyone wants, add me on Ps3: bawnslippy86, i'm always up for a round of MK and looking for challengers around my level (I can do a 13 hit combo/35% damage so far)
Beat him in the end, best strategy seemed to be jump over him hit him followed by an uppercut (5% damage 2 hit combo) repeat till you've built up an x-ray attack and then return to the jump/hit/uppercut combo until one of you is dead. He seemed to shrug off any other attack and hit you with his hammer.
This is one of the only games in the past decades to make me wish I wasn't just a PC gamer. I haven't played it but I played MK vs DC Universe on my friends PS3 and I thought it was brilliant. I preferred it even more than SF4.
