It's on the radio all the bloody time at work here and I can't stand it either. I really dislike Natasha Bedingfield, James Blunt (arrrrrrrrgh!!), that Charlotte Church song, Joss Stone and anything sung by Anastacia.

Linkin park are good though :thumb:

Highlight, MOST in that - some pre-90s stuff is serious tuneage. Death/Black Metal is funny as, but double bass pedals just piss me off no end. Operatic Black Metal = teh win

Anything from whiney Maria Carey. She needs a good kick up the backside, but I'd settle for her not singing anymore.

    Livin on a prayer :grr:

Which by proxy has led me to hate Summer of 69 as every "classy" DJ always plays it before livin on a prayer... so it makes me tense into a pre-emptive hating stance*...

I was at a big party thing where livin on a prayer got stuck on repeat by accident. It played at least 7 times before anyone skipped it, and people still sung along. every time :wallbash:

    *often mistaken for constipation

Danced up versions of classic tracks like "Time after time" and "Boys of summer" etc. While I'm not saying the originals were the greatest thing since sliced bread, hearing those makes me want to stick knitting needles in my ears.

'Anything that comes out as a ringtone before it's released as a song' covers the songs i dislike the most :D

:duh: Wasn't that the whole point of having funk in the song - as an "ooooh. They almost said f**k on the radio." *snigger* for little 12 year old girls (well that's the only demographic I can see this stuff appealing to).

    Agreed. BEP are just *shudder*
