    Im building a case from scratch but along side that i want to mod a pre build case can any 1 suggest sum plain(nuthin fancy, rather have a cleen slate 2 work with) metal cases at a decent price.

    Plenty of modding potential if you ask me. However if you want to do a lot of bondo/bodywork on the case then I suggest just any old steel case, as they will be easier to build upon.

    These anodized aluminum ones are impossible to replicate the finish on something like bondo for example, so you need to either not ruin any part of the finish, or repaint the whole case.


    Just find something that works for you, its your mod and your personal style. Look around you'll find what you want.
