Thanks guys, I'll give the infinity a look. The NF7 is so tried and tested though. Is the package as good with the infinity as the lanparty?

    Dragging this up again....

I can't believe the Lanparty dosen't have mounting holds for waterblocks, etc...

That may well swing it in the direction of the NF7, I'd almost convinced myself to go and blow £105 on Lanparty from PC World tomorrow as well. Yyes PC World, much as the place sucks sometimes I just want it in my hands without having to wait for the knock at the door!

I've ordered an infinity, it's arriving tomorrow ;)

I can tell you that the DFI Infinity and the LanParty rev B have the mounting holes, it's only the Rev A LanParty which doesn't have the mounting holes :)

God this is getting worse now, I am torn between the nf7 and the DFI infinity...

I think I might just give the DFI a try for a change, I can always get rid of it and get the nf7 if we don't get on. PC World have the DFI for £64 atm which seems like a bit of a steal!

Murdoc - what are you going for?

I've not even run the infinity yet... lol

but the NF7 is a tried and tested motherboard, well worth considering; there are a few probs with the infinity and they don't make new bios's very often... their last release was november time.

You have to run beta/alpha bios's if you want speed; however they void the warranty. Getting a bios savior would be a good idea IMHO :)

What sort of problems? I can't really find any volume of reviews to speak of. I'm not frightened of a bit of a learning curve but I don't really want a battle on my hands... What'd you reckon?

I think will go with the infinity tbh, the nf7-s is getting on a bit and i can only see the infinity going up where the nf-7 has maxxed. £64 at PCWORLD bloddy hell *gasps* i may swing over to the one at merry hill on thrus or summot. Want a Artic VGA silencer too.

EDIT: the only DFI i can see at pcworld is the lanparty :/

I saw it mentioned in another thread yesterday and went up there last night and they had about 5 of them.

I think I'm going to get one too - might as well give it a try at that price!

Are you on yahoo messenger or anything? Might need som help getting it full sorted, bios' etc...

Sure was. You gonna get one? I think I might too - although the whole bios issue seems a little confused. Some helpful information over at xtremesystems.

have you tried getting past 200Mhz fsb yet?

There's a "bug" with some of the boards at 200Mhz fsb where you can't cold boot.
