I am really drawn to the overclocking features or the DFI SLI-D for my planned SLI rig but I have a few reservations about its heat issues. Many of the reviews have said that the heat coming off the Mofsets when overclocking really needs some kind of active cooling, 1) I am moving towards water cooling but I will be using two undervolted 120mm fans for intake and exhaust and the wiring for the case will be tucked behind the motherboard tray. Will this be enough or should I mod a mount onto the case for a small fan to blow on the mofsets? 2) For those who have built a system with the SLI-D, how much clearance is there for a Northbridge Cooling solution, did you stick with the DFI active cooler or is there a mod for something better? 3) Has anyone used the OCZ 4000VX memory with a DFI board? It overclocks well and 2-2-2-8 at 600Mhz has its attractions but the heat is supposed to require active cooling, what have your findings been? Any help would be really appreciated as my project is in the planning stages and I’m trying to get some solid ideas on equipment and layout. Cheers
