    ok heres the problem, I have just bought a new mobo MSI KT6 Delta, coolermaster aero7 and a new 400watt PSU. I have installed all the parts my processor isnt coming up as it should. the computer says I have an AMD XP1700+ 1.3Ghz when I actually have an AMD XP 3000+ 2.1Ghz with 1GB of ram the computer is running very slow. Also had problems with the hard drive had to reinstall windows to get it going ,something to do with ntldr missing anyways is there any thing I can do to get my processor back to running at full capacity?

    The XP3000 Specs are as below
    Athlon XP 3000+ Barton (L2 512KB) 2100MHz 200MHz 10.5x

    Your system is running at 10.5x133Mhz, you need to go into the BIOS and set the CPU (Front Side Bus) speed to 200Mhz.
    10.5x200 = 2100
