Modding Motherboard Question

    Does anyone know if Gigabyte's new motherboard (8INXP E7205 Granite Bay Dual Channel DDR) is a good choice for the foundation of Large home video server.

    If you are looking for someone with hands on experience....it might be a while. This board is the perfect example of a paperwork release. A select few get test boards while the rest of us wait for the final version. As far as video serving I believe the onboard RAID can handle 4 P-ATA drives unlike some onboard RAID controllers that only do two. It also has S-ATA RAID but only for 2 drives I guess since S-ATA cables are designed to connect one drive to the mobo only. If you have seen a place selling this board, let me know....I am waiting :sigh:
